Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s PS4 version of the title is nearly here with less than a month to go. In fact, the beta and pre-orders are now live starting from today.
A new trailer has been released below that shows gameplay in action on the PS4. Showing off dark hallways, bloody melee combat, co-op fighting, and heavily armored beasts. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was released on Xbox One back in July, and back in March the PC version gained 500K in sales in only four days.
Starting from today, developer FatShark has announced that the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 closed beta is now available. It’s also now available to pre-order on the PlayStation Store as Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – Ultimate Edition.
Those that pre-order the title will get the following:
- 4 days Early Access
- Instant Closed Beta Access
- Sigmar Keep Statue
- Helmgart Heraldry Themed Skins
- 2x Portrait Frame
- 6x Exclusive Heroic Deeds
- Shadows over Bögenhafen DLC
- Back to Übersreik DLC
For those that jump right into the closed beta, there will be three maps available to play: Against the Grain, Righteous Stand, and Athel Yenlui. Any progression made in the beta will be carried over to the full launch version of the game. You’ll also need to ensure you have 20GB minimum save size with the file size of the beta coming in at 26.45 GB.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will arrive on PS4 on December 14. It’s currently available on PC, and Xbox One.
