Tricky Towers Gets a Physical Release for Both PlayStation 4 and PC Versions

It was way back in August when we learned that Weirdbeard Games and Soedesco were planning a physical release for their physics-based tower building game, Tricky Towers. Today, the creators announced that the physical release is officially available, along with a new trailer that lists some of the game’s best features.

The physical release for Tricky Towers is for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game and includes features from the original game such as 17 different spells, online leaderboards, trial challenges, and of course the game’s praised local or online 4-player competitive gameplay.

Tricky Towers is the spiritual successor to the iOS and Android title 99 Bricks: Wizard Academy. Today’s game asks that players stack bricks to create towers that will remain upright. However, as it progresses, opponents will do all they can to topple each others’ towers with dark spells, making for a frantic session every time.

The  physical version of Tricky Towers is now available on PlayStation 4 and PC. The game is also available digitally for Xbox One, and includes an exclusive single-player mode. You can find the most recent trailer, announcing the game’s physical release, in the video provided below.

DualShockers reviewed the game when it originally released for PlayStation 4, finding it to be a game that was practically made for multiplayer.

Tricky Towers Launches on Xbox One with Exclusive Single-Player Content

After WeirdBeard Games’ Tricky Towers found success on PlayStation 4 and Steam, the developer set its sights on the Xbox One platform. Today, Tricky Towers came to the new platform, bringing with it new content and a launch trailer.

As had been teased previously, Tricky Towers‘ Xbox One launch comes with it the inclusion of an exclusive single-player mode. In the new mode, players must build their towers as quickly as possible in order to beat the rush of rising water.

If you weren’t there for the original release, Tricky Towers is a multiplayer brick-stacking game in which you must compete with a friend to build the best tower. However, while you and your friend build your respective towers, you’ll also have to cast offensive and defensive spells to keep it structurally sound. In the end, whose tower will be left standing?

Tricky Towers is currently available on PlayStation 4, PC, and now Xbox One for $14.99. For more information on the game, you can always check out the official website or the Steam page.

Back when the game released on PlayStation 4, DualShockers completed a review of the title, finding it to be an excellent multiplayer game with a few points of frustration.
