SUPERHOT Looks to be Heading to Nintendo Switch

It seems that the popular indie SUPERHOT is making its way to the Nintendo Switch.

On Friday, a Twitter user by the handle of @itssimontime posted a screenshot of the game getting an update for a Switch version that has yet to be announced.  After making the post, the user explained that the update was uploaded to the platforms CDN (content delivery network).

With the upcoming Nintendo Indie World presentation taking place on Monday, it is plausible that the game will be announced then. Throughout this generation, SUPERHOT has been one of the most well-known indie titles. With that in mind, it isn’t surprising if the game is truly coming to Nintendo Switch.

Additionally, Twitter user @ZhugeEX backed up the rumor stating in a post that, “Two games will be shadow dropped. Both games are Hot.” ZhugeEX is known for receiving insider information before official announcements. Up to now, the developer Superhot Team has made no statement about the rumor.

In 2016, SUPERHOT released on PC and later went to PS4 and Xbox One in 2017. Since then, SUPERHOT went to the VR space releasing on PlayStation VR, Oculus, Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality. We found the shooter to have gameplay that is “simple and masterfully executed.”

Whether this rumor is true or not we will likely find out the truth Monday during the presentation. The Indie World presentation will last for 20 minutes and begins at 6am PST/9am EST. In case you are unable to watch the stream, be sure to check-in with us as we update you with all the announcements.
