Square Enix announced at E3 2019 that both Romancing Saga 3 Remaster and SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions are coming west “soon” with a brand new trailer.
Technically, Romancing SaGa 3‘s Remaster was already all but confirmed to be releasing west, as the developers mentioned multiple times it will be coming worldwide, just like Romancing SaGa 2 Remaster before it. More than two decades after its original SNES release exclusively in Japan in 1995, Romancing Saga 3 Remaster will be available on PS4, Vita, Switch, Xbox One, PC via Steam, iOS, and Android.
Romancing SaGa 3 should be launching very soon according to comments from the producers we’ve previously covered. The game is finished and is getting was supposed to launch early 2019 but was delayed to get polished.
Meanwhile, SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions will be launching for Switch, PS4, Steam, iOS and Android. The game is an enhanced version of SaGa: Scarlet Grace which launched exclusively on Vita in Japan in December 2016. SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions is the latest console game of the SaGa series, and it’s very similar to The Last Remnant, which is a SaGa game in everything but name, sharing staff member.
These are among the JRPGs releases I’m looking forward to the most. The trailer featuring both Romancing Saga 3 Remaster and SaGa Scarlet Grace Ambitions can be found below.
