Ahead of its August 27th launch, indie title Decay of Logos gets a new launch trailer, screenshots, and concept art gallery on the official Playstation blog. Through this, we can get an even deeper look into the intriguing revenge story, as well as how the idea first came into fruition:

It’s been almost four years since our programmer André joined the studio. At that time, we were focusing on creating Unity tools, but we soon realized that André had brought more than his programming skills. He brought an idea… one that became the seed for Decay of Logos.
At first, it was a prototype he experimented with at nights after work. But the more we saw, the more we realized that this was the game that we had to make. We knew it was risky, and we knew it would be a challenge – but we were ready to do the work.
It’s fascinating that this title had such humble beginnings, yet was given a chance to grow and eventually thrive to become the game that exists today. And according to our News Editor, it’s one of the best indie games to come out of this year’s E3.
Decay of Logos is about a young woman named Ada who goes on her quest for revenge after her village gets burned to the ground by Crimson Knights bearing the royal quest. Find solace in your trusty elk companion as you battle the unforgiving foes that roam this once peaceful realm.
